MISSION STATEMENT

THE LAKER WAY

On behalf of the Lake Oswego Lacrosse program, our coaches, players, and alums, I am very excited to introduce you to The Laker Way, our cultural blueprint for sustained success - on the field, in the classroom, and through life.

Over a week long period in December 2018 during the holiday break, the coaches, team captains, and some former players got together to communicate the mission statement of Lake Oswego Lacrosse, identify the core values, and determine the actions necessary that will define Lake Oswego Lacrosse for years to come. This effort resulted in the creation of the The Laker Way.

The Laker Way is the culmination of years of Lake Oswego Lacrosse, where our goal of building an elite team - through leadership, hard work, integrity, performance excellence and continuous learning - laid the foundation for transforming the Lake Oswego Lacrosse program into having a positive, confident, and competitive culture. That culture was carried in the Team Handbook which served to guide us on our journey back to be among the best of Oregon high school lacrosse. The Laker Way now takes us the rest of the way.
